Just 1 mile from the property is an attraction that can’t be missed: Yarmouth Castle. Once one of Henry VIII’s most cherished coastal fortresses, today Yarmouth Castle provides a jaw-dropping spot for a picnic with breath-taking views across the Solent. Also commanding a spectacular view is Fort Victoria Pier (1 mile), where visitors can wander along the nature trail, follow walking routes along the seashore, or visit the well-known Reptilarium and Planetarium. On the south coast, drive 4.5 miles and discover the multi-coloured sands of Alum Bay. Colwell Bay one and a half miles away with a lovely family beach, one of the best paces to see the sunsets on the island and a superb restaurant.

After long days of exploring, head back into Yarmouth to enjoy a hearty pub dinner at one of the classic pubs, sample some of the island’s finest bakes at one of the many cute cafes, and lots of quality restaurants to choose from. Let yourselves into this idyllic single-level holiday cottage, where you’ll be welcomed by a tastefully decorated lounge/kitchen/diner. This inviting space is furnished with a modern combination of sunny yellows and chic greys, offering a relaxing environment after busy days out. Whip up family favourites in the fully equipped kitchen before serving them around the circular table seating four. The lounge beckons guests to unwind with a glass of bubbles whilst catching up with shows on the Smart TV. Next door are two comfortable bedrooms, including one double and one twin, boasting fresh coastal interiors and ample storage space. Both bedrooms share a contemporary shower room with a walk-in shower cubicle and WC.

The cottage has access to its private decking with rattan seating, a table and views across the large, shared lawn. Make yourself a coffee in the machine each morning and enjoy getting stuck into a book out in the sunshine. Off-road parking is available.
