Perfectly situated in the heart of the Kent countryside, with spectacular views across the Kent Downs, this is a great place from which to explore the Garden of England. An ideal location for keen walkers who can take advantage of the numerous footpaths that lead straight from the front door and crisscross the beautiful Kent countryside, passing through local villages and surrounding farmland. For those looking to soak up a bit of local culture during their stay, Canterbury is a short drive away and guests can enjoy a trip to the Marlow Theatre, or a visit to the world-famous Canterbury Cathedral. For those looking for a trip to the seaside, the Kent coastline is a 20-minute drive away.
Enter the cottage through the front door into an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with exposed beams throughout and breathtaking views across farmland. The lounge area has two comfortable sofas and two armchairs, and a TV/ DVD player with a selection of DVDs perfect for a family movie night in. There is a farmhouse table and four chairs for relaxed mealtimes, and a cupboard with a selection of board games and books to keep everyone entertained. The kitchen area has all the equipment you need, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and a washing machine. Stairs from the kitchen area lead up to the two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and fantastic views across the rural surroundings. The second bedroom has twin beds, and the property is completed by a bathroom with a bath, shower and WC.
Heading outside, there is a patio table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ for enjoying outside dining. Private parking for one car.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
