Whether you prefer days by the beach or visiting the rolling hills, this home is set in the perfect spot. Just 10 miles away is the bustling town of Alnwick, with its magnificent castle which is recognisable from the Harry Potter movies. Head to Bamburgh (8.5 miles) and enjoy the stretches of sandy shoreline, or head to Seahouses (0.5 miles) and take a boat trip to the fabulous Farne Islands that is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Northumberland is also full of wonderful walking routes leading through rugged coastline or rural countryside, offering views to appeal to everyone.
Set over one floor, this gorgeous stone barn conversion is super spacious and stylish. The contemporary open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is welcoming and an ideal spot to spend time together. Get cooking using the Range oven while other guests enjoy playing games at the dining table. Spend evenings warming up in front of the wood burner on the comfortable sofas, before heading through to one of the two bedrooms. The first bedroom is a lovely, family room with a super-king bed and a single bed. The second bedroom is a bright and airy double bedroom. A charming bathroom with walk-in shower completes the interior.
Outside of the property is a paved courtyard terrace surrounded by a low stone wall. Take a seat at the table and enjoy dining alfresco while admiring the far-reaching countryside and coastal views. Please note that this space isn’t fully enclosed.
