Located in a small hamlet tucked between the valleys of Troutbeck and Kentmere, this charming property is a fine base for walkers. Step out on foot to enjoy easy access to both moderate and long walks, with routes leading as far as Wansfell, High Street and Haweswater. A two mile walk will bring you to Ings where there is a popular and award-winning pub and is the perfect way to refuel at the end of a long trek. Nearby Windermere and Bowness boast an array of shops, inns, restaurants and cafes, together with boat hire and steamer trips offering another view of the spectacular lake land scenery.
Inside, the property has been transformed into a contemporary and stylish space that’s perfect for romantic getaways. Prepare meals in the contemporary kitchen area before heading to the lounge to dine at the cosy table for two. With a comfortable sofa, a Smart TV and Blu Ray/DVD player, this is a welcoming space for both summer and winter retreats with high ceilings and French doors opening onto the patio. The bathroom is a luxurious space for unwinding after a long day on foot, complete with free-standing bath and large walk-in shower. Steep ‘space saver’ stairs lead up to a compact and pretty mezzanine bedroom with the bed delightfully set under the eaves.
