With views out across rolling green hills and nearby ponds, guests also benefit from 5 acres of grounds to explore and the use of a small lake. Situated on the fringes of the market town of Honiton, with its independent shops and eateries, the impressive cottage is also well positioned for walks through the scenic Otter Valley or into the Blackdown Hills. There is plenty of unspoiled countryside to explore and charming seaside towns such as Sidmouth and Lyme Regis within 14 miles. From here, head out in either direction to follow the South West Coast Path and explore the magical Jurassic Coast. Exquisite Connaught Gardens and the Donkey Sanctuary are also well worth a visit.
Step into this stunning, lakeside house at ground-floor level to be greeted by a beautiful, galleried landing that is filled with natural light. One of your spacious super-king-size bedrooms is also here, together with a family shower room with floor level walk in shower. Head down to the lower ground floor to find yourselves in the chic, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This stylish space, with its great expanses of glass that bring the views right inside, opens up to a large patio area with seating and BBQ, allowing seamless indoor/outdoor living in the summer months. Find everything you need to help you cater for your party over in the modern kitchen, with its quartz worktops, breakfast bar and built-in appliances. There is also a family dining area for your holiday meals and a lounge where you can gather to watch TV. Also on the lower ground floor is another spacious super-king-size bedroom. Make your way up to the upper level of the house to find your two remaining bedrooms. These are both gorgeous super-king-size rooms with magnificent views, a mobile TV which can be moved into any room and superb balconies where you can relax with a glass of chilled wine to enjoy your scenic surroundings. One of these luxurious bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom and the other an en-suite floor level walk in shower room. Three of the super-king-size bedrooms at this property can also be arranged as twins by prior request.
Dine out on your generous, enclosed patio as you look out over the lake towards the green hills or watch the stars appear above you. Stroll across the 4 acres of shared land surrounding this retreat, whenever you choose. There is ample off-road parking.
