Enjoying stunning Sea Views, this exceptional cottage retreat is set in an elevated position above Seaton, in Devon, this splendid abode is perfect for anyone seeking proximity to stunning countryside as well as the coast.
Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom house benefits from commanding views across its picturesque, rural surroundings. Situated in scenic grounds close to the owner’s home, but enjoying its privacy, it has private, outside seating areas, including a balcony, and shared use of a meadow, which looks out towards the sea. From here, stroll 1 mile down into vibrant Seaton, with its shops and restaurants, and 2 miles to the beach. Have a day out to Lyme Regis, 7 miles away, known for its beautiful beaches, where you can search for fossils.
Make your way inside to find beautifully finished accommodation, with oak flooring throughout the ground floor. From the hall, wander into the lounge/kitchen/diner to open the French doors on to the patio and take in the stunning views towards the Axe cliffs and valley. Prepare tasty meals in the chic kitchen area for your party and dine at the table inside or out in the fresh air. Also downstairs is a separate WC. Climb the oak staircase up to the first floor to find a king-size bedroom, with a TV and doors on to the balcony. This room also has an en-suite bathroom. The twin bedroom, also with a TV, is on the first floor too, together with a family shower room.
Spread out into the garden as often as possible. Dine outside on the patio or have a glass of wine on the balcony. Stroll through the owner’s wooded grounds at your leisure and also enjoy the shared meadow.
