Ideal for enjoying the Northumberland coast, and with panoramic sea views from the lounge, this fabulous holiday cottage is set in an enviable location just a few metres from the stunning Beadnell Bay
This lovely property is situated right next to the historic stone lime kilns in the charming fishing village of Beadnell. This quaint and picturesque village is perched on the beautiful Northumberland coast and boasts a stunning horseshoe-shaped beach along a beautiful stretch of the Northumberland coastline which extends for over 3 miles south to Newton-by-the-Sea. With great pubs serving food, and a village shop nearby. This property is a perfect base for exploring this glorious area. You can take the coastal path to the pretty village of Seahouses, or drive over to the delightful market town of Alnwick, with its famous castle and gardens, or explore Bamburgh, Craster, the Farne Islands or Lindisfarne.
On entering this delightful holiday cottage you will find yourself in the light and spacious lounge/diner. With plenty of comfortable seating, a TV and a traditional wood burner, this is an ideal space to relax in. You can also dine in style at the charming dining table with seating for six guests. Heading into the stylishly designed kitchen you will find it fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, fridge and washing machine. Going up too the first floor you will find three cosy bedrooms. There’s a master bedroom with double bed and fabulous views towards the beach and of the old lime kilns. This room also features an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower and WC. You will also find a twin bedroom and a bunk bedroom. There’s also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Heading up to the second floor you will find a wonderful open-plan additional lounge, with a large Dormer window offering fantastic panoramic views of the coast and Beadnell beach. There’s also a fridge, ideal for chilling your wine (or milk for afternoon tea!), plus a kettle and small cupboard for mugs and glasses. This is a great place to relax in and gaze out at the gorgeous views by day and the starry sky by night.
Stepping outside, the cottage has a small, walled lawn garden to the front with space to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine in the warmer months. Off-road parking can be found to the rear of the property.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
