Located in a desirable area of West Looe, within walking distance of shops, pubs, restaurants and the beach. This cosy Holiday Cottage is the perfect base for your holiday, with picturesque harbours and villages to explore.
This picturesque fishing port with its fantastic main town and long sandy beach has changed very little over the generations and has remained ever popular with visitors since the turn of the century. The town has so much to offer, with a fantastic mix of bistros, pubs, restaurants and independent stores. Enjoy one of the many boat trips, from fishing to a leisurely glass bottom ride out to the island. Close by is the village of Polperro with a picture postcard harbour and colourful narrow streets. Attractions in the area include The Monkey Sanctuary, The Adrenalin Quarry, Go karting, Porfell Wildlife Park, The Eden Project and many National Trust properties to name a few.
Once a bakery, this traditional Cornish cottage still retains much of its original charm with cobbled walls, low ceilings and narrow staircases, giving a real sense of Cornish living. Heading through the undercover walkway and up the original slate external steps you will enter this reverse level property into the porch. From the porch, a few steps up take you through to the kitchen/diner which is fully equipped for all your holiday home cooking requirements. The kitchen area comprises of an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and a washing machine. From the kitchen, a few steps up lead you into the cosy lounge, a characterful room with comfortable furnishings, TV/DVD and looking over the rooftops enjoying harbour and coastal views. The perfect place to kick back and relax after a day’s activities whilst planning your next adventure. The bathroom with shower over bath and WC is located just off from the porch area. From the lounge, steep cottage style stairs lead you to the middle floor and the master bedroom, a king-size that has been stylishly furnished. A further narrow staircase down leads to the ground floor and twin bedroom, suitable for adults or children.
Heading outside, there is a small raised garden area with charcoal BBQ and furniture giving those wonderful coastal views and a small enclosed slate patio with furniture. A parking permit for one car is provided with the property, for a nearby carpark along the harbour, roughly 10 minute walk from the property.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
