Explore the Swan Maze, the largest Willow maze in Dorset or collect your buckets and go fossil hunting at Charmouth, 12 miles away. The charming town of Bridport is just over 1 mile away and offers an abundance of cafes, restaurants, shops and bars for your enjoyment. The open-plan layout features an inviting lounge/diner and a charming kitchen/breakfast room. Nestle down on the sofa in front of the cosy wood burner while the designated chef cooks up a storm in the bespoke hand-made kitchen. Features include a copper-topped workbench, original flagstone flooring, timber beams and stone walls. Further along the curved hallway, you’ll find the family bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. With thoughtful attention to detail and a nod to the history of the property, there is rope-detailing on the staircase. On the first floor, slumber under the eaves on starlit nights or stay up late with a good book and cup of hot chocolate in the reading nook. The charming double bedroom features a low-level bed positioned against the wall. A tiny door opens into an eaves area, where you’ll find a single bed. Across the landing, you’ll find a delightful twin bedroom, with low-level zip and link beds that can be made up into a king-size bed. Please be aware that the upstairs has low ceiling heights in some areas.
Outdoors, the property features an enclosed courtyard garden with picket fence. Strike up the BBQ and savour majestic countryside views while you plan the following day’s activities. Parking for 1 car.
