Standing on a working farm at the foot of Cadair Idris, this peaceful stone holiday cottage is well suited for romantic retreats, walkers, small families or couples wanting to explore the great outdoors.
The town of Dolgellau is just 2 miles away and has a range of excellent events throughout the year, as well as a number of cafes, restaurants and pubs for a chance to dine out. Take the Mawddach Way from Dolgellau and you can enjoy a 9.5-mile walk or cycle to Barmouth for a taste of the coast. There is a range of shorter, less challenging paths directly from the property and through the farmland for a more leisurely stroll.
This quaint cottage has a beautiful open-plan living space, with a wood burner, dramatic beamed ceiling and French windows which give the ‘wow’ factor to the property. Off to one side of the space is the well-equipped kitchen and a dining table to sit four for mealtimes. Upstairs, there is a double room, with yet more beautiful beamed ceilings retaining the original charm of the stone cottage. The second room is a twin, with thoughtful decor and a large, bright window in the centre wall. Both rooms enjoy tiled en-suite bathrooms with luxurious gold finishings.
With direct access to Cadair Idris and a number of serene lakes, the views outside are naturally fantastic and can be enjoyed from the patio and garden.
