Ideal for larger groups and situated close to three beautiful sandy beaches, this light and spacious cottage is an ideal holiday home for enjoying a fantastic self catering family holiday in a beautiful part of the Isle of Wight.
This delightful detached New England style house is just a short walk from the tranquil and sandy beaches of Priory Bay and Seagrove Bay where you can enjoy swimming, paddling, rock pooling or playing in the sand. This is a beautiful coastal area and the nearby coastal path can be followed to St Helens and onwards to Bembridge. The charming Edwardian resort of Seaview offers a choice of small shops and cafes. You can also walk along the seafront of Seaview into Ryde – a seaside resort with a variety of traditional seaside entertainments. Nearby places to visit include Havenstreet Steam Railway, Robin Hill Adventure Park and Osborne House – the island home of Queen Victoria.
On entering this tasteful and bright holiday cottage you will find yourself in an attractive entrance hall which opens into a spacious lounge, with comfy seating and TV. Exploring the ground floor further you will find a lovely delightful dining area, with patio doors opening on to the terrace, and you will find the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and breakfast bar. There’s also a second charming lounge with comfy seating and TV/DVD. You will also find a cosy double bedroom with French doors opening into the garden and an en-suite shower room with WC, as well as a separate ground-floor WC. A beautiful staircase winds up from the lounge to the first floor where there are three further cosy bedrooms. There’s a twin room, a double room, and the master bedroom which has a king-size bed, TV, a dressing area, a small mezzanine with a desk, and an en-suite shower room with WC. There is also a bathroom complete with a corner bath, separate shower and WC.
Stepping outside you will find a lovely fenced and gated garden at the rear of the cottage. Immediately adjacent to the house is a terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ so you can enjoy dining in the sunshine. Five steps lead up to a large lawn with additional garden furniture. Please be aware that there is a 3 foot drop between the lawn and the terrace, so children should be supervised. At the front of the property there is a large drive where four cars can be accommodated. There is also covered storage available for bikes.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
Please note there is a refundable £200 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.
